PWD would invited e-tenders Tenders up to Rs 10 lakh

  E-tendering will effect from May 1, 2010

The state government has decided to invite Public Works Department's tenders up to Rs 10 lakh through e-tendering. This decision has been taken in view of encouraging results of a similar decision by the Public Works Department under which tenders up to Rs 20 lakh were invited through e-tendering.In the instructions issued in this connection, the Public Works Department has asked Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation's director and PWD chief engineer that tenders up to Rs 10 lakh or more of all the divisional offices of Public Works Department should be invited through e-tendering with effect from May 1, 2010. This arrangement will apply to bridge division as well.

Instructions have been given for inviting tenders for those maintenance works of Madhya Pradesh State Road Development Corporation, where PQ is not applicable, through e-tendering. The government has given instructions to follow this direction strictly.
